Day 1: Arrival Amman
Upon arrival to Queen Alia Airport our representative will meet and assist you through the immigration procedures. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for overnight.
Day 2: Amman City Tour – Jerash – Dead Sea – Amman
During a city tour in Amman you visit the Amphitheater, the Citadel and the King Abdullah Mosque. Afterwards we drive in the north of Jordan to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. We visit the spectacular Forum, Roman Colonnaded Street, Nymphaeum, Artemis Temple, St. Cosmos and Demeanors church. Our next destination is the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth and the largest "Natural Spa" in the world. Back to hotel in Amman for overnight.
Day 3: Amman – Desert Castles – Amman
Our daily tour leads us to the Desert Castles in eastern Jordan, built in the 8th century. The Amra Castle adorns with its zodiac dome and the early examples of Umayyad fresco paintings. Besides you will see Qasr Kharanah and Azraq. Overnight in Amman.
Day 4: Amman – Mt. Nebo – Madaba – King’s Highway – Kerak – Petra
We drive to Mt. Nebo, the place where Moses gazed at the promised land. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem. After we proceed to Madaba, where the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church is sited. Afterward we drive along the famous ancient biblical caravan route, the King's Highway, to Kerak for visiting the famous crusaders castle. We go on to Petra for overnight.
Day 5: Petra
You spend the day in the red-rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. The rock city was established around the 6th century BC by the Nabataean Arabs. Among others you view the Treasury, Pharaoh's Castle, the Triumphal Arch and the Amphitheater. Overnight in Petra.
Day 6: Petra – Wadi Rum – Aqaba
In Wadi Rum, the wild desert landscape, which already fascinated the British liaison officer Lawrence of Arabia, venture a two hour Bedouin Jeep tour. It will lead you to sand dunes, canyons and Nabatean inscriptions. After lunch in Bedouin camp we drive to Aqaba on the Red Sea for overnight.
Day 7: Aqaba for leisure - Amman
Jordan’s only city on the sea is Aqaba. The splendid weather during more than eight months of the year allows you to enjoy all kinds of water sports. Overnight in Aqaba.
Day 8: Aqaba – Amman
Assisted transfer to the airport in Amman for departure.
