Dead Sea: This area is warm and sunny all year through with an average temperature of 30 °C. The air is dry, pollen free, full with oxygen and the sun rays are not harmful for humans due to a special atmospheric layer. The Dead Sea is famous for its mineral-rich black mud and its waters have high levels of natural minerals, especially Calcium, Magnesium and Bromine.
Hammamat Ma'in (Zarqa Ma'in): Over 2000 years ago the thermal springs of Hammamat Ma'in had been known as Callirhoe. Southwest of Madaba you find theses springs and waterfalls 120 meter below sea level. The water is highly concentrated with mineral salts and make treatments for people with skin diseases, blood circulatory problems and muscular pains possible.
Al-Hummah: 10 km north from Umm Quais Al-Hummah is located, and the therapeutic effects of its thermal springs already appreciated by the Romans. You find here a spa and some clinics treating respiratory and skin diseases as well as diseases related to the nervous system.
Afra Falls: In the south of Jordan, 26 km away from Al-Tafilah, the hot spring waters provide minerals which have an healing effect on varicose, anaemia and rheumatism.
