There is only one place for aquatic sports in Jordan: Aqaba at the Red Sea. But its underwater world offers unique coral reefs and colorful fishes. The Gulf of Aqaba has more than 300 individual species of coral and over 1000 species of fish. The all year around good weather and the warm sea water, temperatures ranging between 20 °C (February) and 28 °C (August), makes it easy to enjoy the trip. All diving sites in Aqaba are accessible from the shore, some companies arrange also boat dives and night dives. The equipment is available in Aqaba.
