Intercultural Tour
Day 1: Jerusalem
Arrive at the Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, where your guide will meet you. Transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 2: Jerusalem
We start our tour with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. A walk takes us down to the Garden of Gethsemane with its Church of all Nations. We continue to the Wailing Wall and, conditions permitting, visit the Temple Mount, where we can see the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque. Then we follow the different stations of the "Via Dolorosa", the "Way of the Cross" which ends at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. In the afternoon we visit Mt. Zion with King David's Tomb and the place of the Last Supper. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 3: Jerusalem
This day is dedicated to the New City of Jerusalem. We visit the Model of Jerusalem in the Second Temple Period, located in the Israel Museum. We proceed to Yad Vashem, the memorial of the holocaust, visit the famous "Menorah" (Candelabre) located in front of the Knesset-Building, housing Israel's Parliament, and the "Shrine of the Book", where the "Dead Sea Scrolls" are exhibited. In the afternoon we stroll through the picturesque village Ein Karem, where according to local tradition John the Baptist was born. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 4: Masada – Ein Gedi – Dead Sea
We drive to the Dead Sea and climb (by cable-car) the famous cliff-fortress of Masada, where Herod the Great built a magnificent palace in the middle of the desert. We walk through the Oasis of Ein Gedi, known since the days of King David and float on the Dead Sea. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 5: Jordan Valley – Sea of Galilee – Golan Heights
Today we drive along the Jordan Valley to the Sea of Galilee. On the "Mt. of Beatitudes" we can enjoy the special church built by the Italian architect Berluzzi, as well as the wide view over the Sea of Galilee. We visit the archaeological excavations of Capernaum, "The Town of Jesus", and its well-known Synagogue. We drive up to the Golan Heights, and visit the reconstructed Talmudic village in Katzrin. From the summit of Mt. Bental there is a wide view over the Golan. Overnight Galilee.
Day 6: Departure
Transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport to board your international flight.
