CAIRO - LUXOR - ASWAN

Day 1: Arrival Cairo
At Cairo airport you will be meet by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Pyramids - Egyptian Museum
In the morning we drive to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos near Cairo. Over that you will see the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Back in Cairo we visit the Egyptian Museum, housing artefacts from the Pharaonic period including the treasures of King Tut-ench-Amoun. Back to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Luxor
Today we fly from Cairo to Luxor, where you will visit the magnificent Karnak Temple complex with its famous „Hypostyle Hall“ consisting of 134 gigantic columns. Then we proceed to the Temple of Luxor, built by Amenophis III. and dedicated to the god Amoun-Ra. In the temple you find also a little mosque. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Luxor
We explore on the other bank of the Nile Theben-West, the “City of the Dead”. You walk through the Valley of Kings, the Valley of Queens, view the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5: Luxor - Aswan
Transfer to the airport to fly to Aswan in the morning. Here you have some time of your own to discover the picturesque Aswan. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Aswan
You start the day with a wonderful tour by Felucca, the typical Egyptian sailing boat. On your program will be the majestic temple of the goddess Isis at Philae Island, the botanical island with its rich variety of exotic plants, and the Aga Khan Mausoleum. The tour includes also a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk and the granite area, which provided the material for building obelisks and temples. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Cairo
Today we say farewell to southern Egypt and fly back to the capital Cairo. Overnight in hotel.

Day 8: Departure
Transfer to Cairo airport to board your international flight.
